Bulandshahr: As soon as Taj Mahal is mentioned, the Taj Mahal of Agra first comes to mind, but do you know that a mini Taj Mahal is also present in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. This unique building is in a village called Kasar Kala, located near Dibai town of Bulandshahr, which was built by a retired clerk Faizul Hasan Qadri in the memory of his wife Begum Tajummali. It is also called ‘Taj Mahal of the poor’. Because, Qadri Saheb had spent his entire life’s earnings in building this building.
Qadri Sahib’s wife Tajummali Begum had passed away, after which Qadri Sahib started the construction of this mini Taj Mahal in her memory. Qadri was always immersed in the memories of his wife, and this token of his love is a symbol of that feeling. He started the construction of this building in 2012 in a field located near his home. The design of the building is inspired by the Taj Mahal of Agra and the tomb of Begum Tajummali has also been built in it.

Qadri Saheb had invested his entire life’s earnings in the construction of this palace. He worked on this building for two years, but in 2014 his savings of Rs 23 lakh were gone. Although the building was almost ready, the marble work was still pending, for which around Rs 10 lakh was required. To fulfill his dream, Qadri Saheb kept adding money from his pension and before his death he had collected Rs 74,000. His dream was that by completing this palace he would cherish his wife’s memory forever, but before that she passed away and this building remained incomplete.

Today, despite being incomplete, this Mini Taj Mahal has become famous as a unique symbol of love. People come from far and wide to see it and also do photography here. Especially on weekends, this place becomes the center of attraction for people. This mini Taj Mahal tells the story of Qadri Sahib’s immortal love and dedication, which, like the Taj Mahal, has become a priceless symbol of love.
